Here at Capone Foods, we make homemade pizza as easy as pie--pizza pie. Our frozen pizza dough comes together quickly, cooked in the oven, on a pizza stone, or on the grill. Pair it with one of our pesto sauces and a cheese of your choosing for a simple and delicious dinner.
Pizza Dough Directions
Bring dough to room temperature before cooking.
In the oven:
- Pre-heat oven to 500 or highest temp.
- Move oven rack to lowest position.
- Roll out dough on lightly floured surface to fit baking sheet.
- Place dough on oiled baking sheet and cook 5 mins to brown.
- Remove dough from oven, add toppings. Cook until bubbling and done.
In the oven on a pizza stone:
- Place pizza stone on lowest oven rack.
- Pre-heat oven to 500 or highest temp.
- Roll out dough on lightly floured pizza paddle.
- Add your toppings and slide pizza onto pizza stone.
- Cook until bubbling and done. Remove with pizza paddle.
On the grill:
- Prepare your toppings and set aside.
- Lightly oil grill racks and set to medium heat.
- Roll out dough on lightly floured surface.
- Place dough directly on grill and cook until bottom browns.
- Flip dough, add toppings, and close grill lid.
- Cook until bubbling and done. Enjoy!
